It depends on religions and what is acceptable and practiced in one, that is not acceptable in the other.
Muslims, who make up more than 85% of the World’s religions and who live under Sharia Law, believe and practice marrying girls as young as 10, but before they have their first period, usually too much older men as vigins, for the use of their husband and whatever he wants from them.
Bearing in mind any practicing Muslim man can have up to 4 wives, if he can afford to provide for them and probably more, if he is wealthy (as in Harem) then that is OK within their religion and which they practice, whether you like it or not.
Christian men, however, come under different Laws and expectations and while I agree with your viewpoint, it is rarely child exploitation, as you are lead to believe and more motivated by the cash compensation, the people who point the finger, will be paid for fingering whoever they like and no method is used to determine if they are telling the truth or not and if they are lying, for them to be publicly humiliated and punished with years in prison for doing so.

My presumed female victim (then 25 years old) used her maiden name, as only I knew her as and concealed the fact that she was in an ongoing relationship (from the Police) and married by the time of my Trial – I had a Jury Trial and I chose the Jury of my Peers, to decide my fate.
My presumed victim ran up a list of accusations, all of which were unfounded, only her word, having committed False Swearing to the Police and Perjury by name, identity, Status and Circumstances, at my Trial and then she went on to make unfounded accusations against me, which she recanted, 3 weeks after I went to prison for 6 years – in her claim for Compensation and she was paid $28,500 for, (in the opinion of a Lawyer who had nothing to do with me), 100% False Swearing to the Police, 100% Perjury at my Trial and 100% Fraud for the “Compensation” she was paid, which she used to purchase a home in cash for, in her “real” identity and there is nothing I can do about any of it, because that’s the way the Law is structured.
