Found my phone, sent the text to the owner I was given to by the chick I was working with – RELUCTANTLY.

The text was sent reluctantly because she told there is no management currently (as the manager before left last Fri. – didn’t add up but not a major issue rn) so he’s doing the rota.

I also realise the reluctance is bc of his semi moronic attitude towards me on Sat morning about not smiling. 1) I’m not a doormat or an appeasing performing monkey 2) Smiling doesn’t win you gold medals, skills does and 3) Put a cork in it. I’m no one’s yes man, I’m not a fan of tyrants and toxic or fragile masculinity I have zero tolerance for.

Plus, the end of the day net sales and customer satisfaction prove I do my job and I do it well, at excelling speed and that is what should matter at the end of the day not a** kissing. The shop wasn’t even open for the full hours and it was my fourth day having not worked in a service industry place since my uni days part time. I do attribute it to the person who was working with me too regardless.

Anyway, it’s done. Coulda rang would have been quicker but like dude, it’s midnight. Who does that sort of s***. Stayed professional af despite the previous attitude problem. But hey-ho.

I just wanna know my hours, get my paperwork sorted and get paid.
