I would say not to break up with someone over their ex or people, because, well I’m bothered by people from my past and I feel like I need to protect people from it, keep it away, but I would also be the first person to tell you that you should be really sure about the other people in the person’s life. What kind of people are they, because you are absolutely dating them too, and you might not even like them. Tlsome of them could go against everything you believe but they are their best friend. They might not even like you. Are they drama queens. Those people are potentially hazerdous to your mental stabiltiy to say the least

If it was me, and my honey said this to me, and I cared, I would tell her that these people pull their s***, they pick scabs from a far, I don’t think they have the nuts to take it any further, I will completely forget her, never bring up or get mad a s*** again, and just trust me. I would make a clear effort to forget it and not let it get to me. You need to distract him too though. Give him something that keeps him away from it
