(Alaska girl)
As Ive always said and will continue to say…. mental health is a huge problem especially for teens now a days. When you give a teen and idea to do something and continue to brain wash them (tv, you tube, movies, internet, friends) they wont know any better. You cant take away everything I just mentioned but you can instruct teens on how to deal with ideas that are just not rational even when being pressured to do so. Mental health programs/classes should be incorporated in all schools and churches regardless of environment. That shooting in Alaska could have been prevented had she’d been trained to be rational and thoughtful. This is something a lot of parents dont know how to teach their kids anymore. They think it should happen normally as they grow but in some circumstances somethings happens in our society (social influences mostly) that hold back that development in early and even later age. Have you ever seen a fully grown adult act as child under stressful events and vice versa. Have you ever seen a child make decisions like an adult under stressful situations? Its all due to influences. How do you fight negative influence? You provide positive influence and support. Simple formula for a complex world.
