my bf makes me feel guilty for not trying hard enough to hang out with him. i fought with my mother (i’m only 16) and my mother is really strict. she hardly lets me hang out with my friends. i tried to explain it to my boyfriend but he didn’t understand. what do?

I found some court papers and accidentally opened with my mail. It stated my mom was arrested for shoplifting at a grocery store and was scheduled to appear. I can’t believe it. I was afraid to leave it opened and destroyed it. I don’t know if I should have done that but I don’t want my dad to find out either because I don’t think he would like it either.
