Found out that my “one that got away” liked me at the same time I liked him last year, and neither of us did anything about it. I didn’t because I had a friend in my ear telling me to get over him and that he’d never like me, he didn’t because his friend liked me and he didn’t want to cause trouble. Now we’ve drifted apart and haven’t talked in more than six months, and I find this out – is it crazy that when I heard it, my heart skipped a beat? That I immediately wanted to see him again, as if there was any chance he’d still feel the same way about me?
