I definitely prefer Physics over Chemistry. For those who are interested in taking grade 11 chemistry and/or physics, read my following opinions and advice.

Physics:
I believe physics is easier than chemistry due to the fact that it’s mostly just working with theories and mathematics. If you’re not good at math at all though or have no common sense, then Physics will be rough for you.
By far the hardest unit you’ll have is Kinematics, which sometimes forces you to cover up an entire page with difficult grade 10 mathematics just to answer one question.
The rest of the units are very theory based and requires you to be able to draw diagrams.
Physics requires understanding more than memorization.

Chemistry:
I believe Chemistry is harder than Physics simply because I believe some of the units in the course forces you to go through nearly five formulas to solve one question or forces you to really get an f****** deep understanding of the unit.
If you’re going to be in a class like I am in, none of the teachings you get will prepare you for the tests unless you get lucky or find some difficult, 50+ multiple choice practice test online that matches what you need to know and you memorize that practice test completely.
The gas unit and the stoichiometry units will make you sad, while the matter and chemical reactions unit will make you laugh and happy.
Combination of memorization and understanding is required for Chemistry.

If you’re better at math and understanding theories, Physics will be better.
If you’re better at understanding concepts and memorizing the steps needed to solve a problem, then Chemistry will be better.
