one time I bought a speciality style vinegar with chili in it. by the time I got half way through it I got sick of the taste. what really made it worse was when I heard the story of a couple who bought a house in Europe and found a keg of old wine. they managed to tap some out from the bottom and they drank quite a lot of it. then one day they tried to move the keg and could not understand why it was so heavy. turns out the old lady who had died who had owned the place had killed her husband or he had died and she placed his body in a keg or vat of wine to preserve it.

well that turned me off the chili vinegar no matter how much I tried I kept thinking I could taste sour black cadaver flesh in the vinegar.
