I know it sounds dumb and cliche, but I feel as if no one understands others depression. I don’t think it’s just me but people are so f****** selfish. They’re too cowardly to ask me how I’m doing, to get into this so called ‘drama’, blinded by themselves and ignore others pain and focus on their own. That’s how if feels on first person basis, on a third person basis, it’s totally different. Both sides yearn for attention, for someone to save them, but both sides lock themselves in hoping for someone to come in. That’s why it’s so hard to find someone to understand, and I’m tired of the half-assed help given. The help given to you just so someone can exterminate one problem so others can focus on their own, or maybe it’s because they believe these feelings you hold are hold a burden, and wish the best out of you. I’m tired of people telling me stories of how they overcame something, or telling what to do for a better life, but it’s not their life, and they don’t know what’s my ‘better life’. The feeling of not being liked, or only being around your ‘friends’ so you don’t look lonely, when really every ones just pushed together by society, but no one reaches out to the other. I want someone to listen to my story, that’s all I want. I want someone who won’t judge me, and tell me truth instead of just talking about a fantasy world where I’m every ones cup of tea. I hate talking about myself so much, but for everyone reading this, take note that people need you, but not just you. They need something more than everyone they care about; they need themselves.
