Where you come from really does play a huge role in where you end up. I didn’t have the strength or drive to claw my way out of poverty. All of the wealthy girls I went to school with are now doctors, nurses, professional beauty queens, singers, etc. or either married to wealthy men so they can comfortably stay home. I’m still living the same way I was as a teenager… paycheck to paycheck, no real hope of things ever getting easier. If I stop to think about it.. damn, it’s depressing.
