For the past two years I have cut my own hair. The shortest it has been cut is where my hair ends at my upper torso. I am content with my hair and I would like to cut it a few more inches. The shortest I will go is half-way to my chin but I plan to cut enough to make the ends meet at my collar bone. My only issue is that my mother does not approve of me trimming my hair shorter. It was difficult enough convincing her to let me cut it thus far.

I know I could “just do it” but I am uncomfortable with the possible consequences. There is not a lot she can do but, /still/.

This why I am asking you for suggestions. Yes, there is a chance I could ‘just’ go for it. My intentions are all the same, asking you for suggestions or encouragement.
