There’s a local photography studio owned by a wealthy, popular family. Their photos used to be good quality. Problem is, they have not kept up with the times AT ALL. Their stuff still looks like it was taken in the 80s! They don’t do any brightening of photos or even removing specks of dust or bugs or whatever from the photos, yet they charge LOTS of money. Basically- their work is CRAP! They look awful! Not only that, they are arrogant, stuck up, and not very friendly, ESPECIALLY if you are, like me and are from a poor family.

My friend has a photo studio and she has gone to workshops, she does photo retouching (no airbrushing, but she does whiten eyes/teeth a little, removes specks of dust/bugs/pimples/ stray hairs/ whatever, brightens the photos and makes them look gorgeous) she sells beautiful quality prints, and her work looks a thousand times better. She’s on the wealthy side but has never been arrogant to me, not once, and is so friendly and sweet.

YET PEOPLE FLOCK TO THE OTHER COMPANY AND THEIR BAD PHOTOS AND HIGH PRICES, ALL BECAUSE THEIR NAME HAS BEEN POPULAR FOR YEARS. ITS STUPID. SMALL TOWN DYNAMICS… AAAAGH
