My eyesight’s garbage so I have glasses. I’ve been told that I should try contacts because I look good without glasses, but I disagree. I have a scar on my face. It’s not super obvious but it’s all I can see when I look in a mirror. When I was younger people would make a big deal about it, either making fun of it or asking how I got it. I didn’t like that. I think it makes me look really ugly, and I can’t see how anyone would feel differently. I wear my glasses because they draw the attention away from that part of my face so less people will notice what I look like. I think I’m ugly without them, so I wear glasses.
