A friend gave my husband and I their old car as a gift to help us out. So nice of them, and I’m very thankful.

We can’t afford even liability insurance and probably won’t be able to buy gas.

So even though their gift was generous, we can’t afford it.

I’m not sure what to do. Do we struggle to carry insurance so we can finally have a mode of transportation, or do we return the car to them and continue to scrape by as we have been?
