I find it so annoying how hollywood white washes so much. Black heroine…white actress. Indian main character..white actor. It’s just kind of cringe inducing really. Then we get the black Annie. Normally I would be totally against that and going “thats not Annie! Annie is a white freckled redhead” *Annie Wilkes yelling voice* but because there is so much whitewashing I view it as a form of revenge. Now you can see how ridiculous it looks. Take Mulan. Imagine they made a live action version and Mulan was played by a white girl. Thats just so freaking weird. Mulan is chinese. Get a chinese actress. Dont insult my intelligence and give me a white girl pretending to be chinese. I just hate stuff like this. It’s like a Black Joker or Batman. It’s wrong. Vile even. Disgusting. I spit on it. I see gamers clamoring for the same thing wanting a black or female Link. No you’re wrong. Link (Legend Of Zelda) is a WHITE blonde or brown haired young MAN. So who cares right? I do. I care.
