i have been staying with my mother since i graduated college, and shortly thereafter she got a new landlord. he kicked out the neighbors purposely (after looking at each apartment) so that a mexican family could move in and work for him. he also owns the countertop factory next door. he chose this family to live right across from there so the mexican guy could do the yardwork, always be close enough to walk to work, etc. he probably doesn’t even have to pay rent because they would just be passing money back and forth. they have three kids, mostly irrelevant even though they are quite devilish, but i don’t think the mom is even legal. she doesnt speak a f****** word of english. we have been nothing but nice to them since they moved in. we baked them cupcakes, welcomed them to the neighborhood, introduced ourselves. and they don’t even f****** smile or say hi when we pass. they returned my unopened christmas card back into my mailbox, and are just WRETCHED loud noisy smelly people. the worst part is, the landlord has the mexican mom doing work for the countertop factory IN THE BASEMENT and every day at 330 the whole house smells of chemicals!!! of indeterminate origin. we have tried to talk to the landlord but he cuts us off like “oh its fine its fine” and she wears a f****** mask and shuts the door and there is no ventilation and it comes up through all the vents, every bathroom, every place it can. i have looked up the number for the clean indoor air act but i really don’t want to cause problems for my mother. what can i do. these f****** mexicans are awful people with a compulsion to take machetes into the woods and just aimlessly chop. i hate them! how can i stop her from doing this f****** s*** in the basement!!!! she’s probably not even legal, that’s why he has her down there. ugghhh
