I don’t think bad things about gay people. I don’t dislike them, hate them, and I’m not afraid of them.
However… personally I don’t approve of their lifestyle, and religiously I believe homosexuality is a sin … but that doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t be allowed to marry or have equal rights. They are still people. It’s not my place to judge anyone and I know that. Their s******** and what they do with their lives and relationships isn’t any of my business. Someone’s being gay doesn’t make them a bad person at all. I have homosexual friends who are dear to my heart. I believe in loving all people.
So I try be understanding and tolerant, I am warm and friendly, I am not hateful or a bigot, but I have to keep my opinion to myself or I am attacked for being homophobic. My beliefs are not allowed, even though I am non violent, not aggressive, etc.
That’s just the way the world is now, I guess.
