Has any city ever actually been improved by a large influx of blacks? The internet isn’t helping me much with this. When I look up the question, I just get a lot of articles pointing out that cities that pride themselves for being progressive and liberal, like Seattle and Portland, also have far fewer blacks than the national average. So seriously, please, does anyone know of any city where blacks moved in en masse, and crime went down, real estate values went up, and public school test scores also went up? There has to be at least one city that fits this description.
