My boss told me yesterday that I have a week to prove myself worthy before he fires me. Just out of the blue! I talked to him again after the day passed. He explained to me what had been happening and why he decided to fire me. I emphasized that I do love what I do. I also emphasized that this week of observation before he decides to fire me is useless and that I think he’s already made the decision. We spoke openly with great communication.
I went home feeling great that I stood up to the boss and talked to him. And then the aching feeling started and I started to worry…to be continued.
