Is it bad to say, “that white dude” or “a black lady”? I’m not saying anything negative, I’m just trying to mention or bring attention to that particular person who happens to be ” what-ever “. It’s like seeing a bunch of ponies and pointing out the orange one. :s
I don’t see anything wrong with this.(?) Am I wrong?
I’ve seen hate for this speaking online, and I’ve been stopped mid sentence once because I was talking about two people of different races. Again, not negative just acknowledging. It was something like, the Asian lady, then the black lady, and then the white lady. They’re all ladies and I need to distinguish them somehow in a story, it’s not like I know their names! So why not color? Is this wrong?
