To: So my sisters guy friend started living with us when he was a senior in high school. Me: I met a young indian guy at work. At that time I worked as a forklift driver in a huge brick works and this guy was barely older than my wife’s sons, my stepsons, alone in this country where I live, no family here at all and I liked this indian guy and invited him home to meet my wife and kids and spend time with us. Big mistake. Whenever I left on nightly shiftwork, he visited and spent the night f****** my wife and she eventually left with him, to live wth him – deserting me and both of her sons, so on top of working shiftwork around the clock I was also a solo step father for my step sons.
Truth of the matter is, if you are married you only spend time with married people and if you are single, then single people only. This is why single people and married couples don’t work. The temptation is always there for the opposite to have a bit on the side and when that happens, as it inevitably does, it leads to a complete marriage breakdown, separation and divorce – as eventually happened with us. I could not compete with a 20 year old when I was in my late 30’s…..I’m in my 70’s now…S*** happens, like it or lump it, life goes on.
Best Wishes…………….
