A friend I went to high school with is married to her stepfather that she has lived with since she was in second grade and they live in Louisiana now. His three kids he had with her mother are still all living up here in Indiana with jobs. She got pregnant at 19 and had her second at 24, but I bet nobody down there knows about their past. Emma would be 27 and Tory would be 51 or 52 now. Then again I don’t blame him for leaving the town I lived in was like 98% white.

I forgot to mention the mother died of a drug overdose in her junior year.
You would feel better living in Louisiana yourself, it would make you feel more at home there.
