Yeah I’m the same way with my family. I won’t go into the kitchen if I know my family is in there. Do your parents abuse you in any way? Jw because mine do and maybe thats the reason you act this way around them?
yeah I avoid them as much as possible. I wouldn’t say it’s abuse, I just don’t get along with any of them. It’s years of misunderstandings, sibling rivalry, neglect, arguements, manipulation, favoritisme… you name it. I can’t move out so I just keep my distance.

Hey, same person as before, what you’re describing IS abuse. Its just emotional abuse instead of physical. Thats the same abuse I experience as well. And my parents neglect me too, my whole life actually.
I’ve been trying to think of something to say but dwelling on this complicated subject right now feels pointless. Yes, it’s been bad and it’s still is but I’m trying to handle it as best as I can and move on.
