Despite all the confusion, I actually managed to talk to my friend about this, and she kept on telling me we’re the same. I honestly didn’t get that, and didn’t care for an elaboration, I wasn’t ready to hear it. But reflecting on it, she probably meant something like if you’re phony, you’d probably get somebody phony too. I don’t believe in that law of attraction whatnot everybody’s talking about, but I guess that’s what actually happened.
One thing I learned is that we have to be real if we want to have something real with people. Our life is mainly a reflection of our choices, you know all that “you reap what you sow thing”. You invest on reliable plans, you get good returns; you invest in bogus schemes, you risk on experiencing more loss than gain.
P.s. But I’m actually not phon. It’s a chameleon thing 😉.
