I had/have a manager like that. I learned a long time ago, you better never talk to that guy when he is on the phone.

That’s a number 1 rule. Not one peep.

That’s what I’m like when it come to many things in life, especially if I’m trying hard but even when I’m not trying att all. You better not interrupt if it’s something I believe in you better damn sure not put your 2 cents in about anything, especially me. I’ll be so pissed (understatement) you probably won’t believe it or even know why. It has nothing to do with insecurity though.

I had a guy try to sort of “c*** block” (inna way, but it’s not s*****) me last week, even though I wasn’t thinking anything s***** about this situation, and it wasn’t even me putting effort in. It was her, but he didn’t like that I get something like that without any effort, it is not me harrassing her into it, she is just so ing it, so he passively aggressively stepped up. I’m still pissed about it. If this had anything to do with something outside of work, I’d have beat his a**. I’m actually still pissed off about it even though she doubled down the next day I saw her by telling me to “have a nice day, honey”. That almost counts as interruption. It’s work, she’s a fan, I’m not really trying, it’s just a sweet figure of speech, a gesture, as I get all over the place, all day, every day, and I do appreciate it, it’s not fuckheads place to say anything. It is not me standing there forcing her to refer to me as a sweet pet name and be nice, she’s doing it on her own free will. If that makes you insecure, well you better zip it, and you better not show that insecurity to me. I’ll beat your a**. That’s interrupting me. That’s putting your nose where it damn sure doesn’t belong. Get in the back, out of my face, make some pancakes, put some berries on them and shut the f*** up.
