Unfortunately I have to agree.

No one wants to hear the truth. They don’t want read confessions about “upsetting” things happening and they’d prefer a pleasant lie.

But it was interesting reading his confession ‘I’m not the statue of David, but when I was in the hospital’ and also read the rebuttal and the follow up from the OP who said the patient was upset from a loss of power and being disgraced.

I’m not so naive as to think that doctors and nurses are saints.
