I have no sympathy for you being put in restraints in the hospital. It was for your own good. There are rules to be obeyed. You were probably combative. You have unfounded complaints about your RN nurse and CNA Certified Nursing Assistant. For procedures and safety they needed total access and control of your ‘c*** and balls’ and they are entitled to it. You aren’t special. Too bad she had sharp nails or you are just too sensitive. She did not need gloves at this point in her exam.
You signed a photo release so stop whining. Releases are common because everybody on staff has a phone/camera. Hospitals put a stop to frivolous lawsuits by requiring a release. The CNA was observant in finding a nice scrotal vein for an IV. She deserves credit. IVs are often in the arm but are placed anywhere the RN selects. That includes the scrotum or p****.
A 22 Foley is what the RN determine you could accommodate and you did. It was her call, not yours. Initially there was insertion resistance which you contributed to. Boys typically get erect when being catheterized. Erections can facilitate catheterization as the RN noted.
She can shake or dangle your p**** as she deems necessary in her examination. The CNA visually noted you were already erect and ready to catheterize. She palpated the erection to confirm it. The swab and alcohol cleaned the area. All good nursing procedure.
The RN reiterated that you already signed a photo release. While performing a standard testicular exam the RN offered another copy which you also signed. She reminded you of the rules and necessity of respecting the staff. The RN is free to refer to them as your balls because that is what they are. The RN informed you at every step, tipping the bed up so you could see, telling you she was going to insert a catheter, why she was using a size 22 French Foley and assuring you it would fit up your urethra, clarifying that your erection was OK, illuminating the rules and proper respect, and explaining the entire catheter would be inserted. All proper nursing procedure and yet you are unappreciative.
The CNA was happy the procedure was successful. A ring, pin or clamp attached to the p****/frenum may be necessary and the RN determined it was appropriate. Apparently you survived. It did nothing to lessen your acute erection which was so hard it turned purple. The CNA properly referred to your c*** as a ‘c***’. The RN agreed to check on your erection later. Blankets were placed on your torso and legs to keep you warm and prevent cramps. Your c*** and balls were left exposed so the RN could check on the catheter and on your intense erection to make sure it subsided within an hour. Again the RN was exercising proper medical procedure.
Volunteers are essential to hospitals. At age 15/16 and working in a hospital she has seen plenty of c**** and balls or penises and testicles if you prefer those words. The internet provides her many more examples. At this point you had signed 2 photo releases and still you are complaining that she took a photo. The volunteer also practiced good procedure palpating your ‘glistening shaft’ out of concern and then expressing that concern for you by altering the RN that she observed your erection was purple and distended. The RN added some levity by saying it was just excitement at her visit. Obviously you were ‘excited’, very excited and distended, bulging, swollen, glistening and purple. That condition warranted the RN frequently checking on your c*** and balls and leaving them uncovered to observe them.
Another CNA checked on you noting the medical observation that your circumcision was partial or incomplete and suggesting it be refined/redone and adding a frenectomy. You agreed you needed circumcised. You complained she pinched your frenum between her sharp nails. You told her it was painful.
You previously complained of pain saying the RN dug her nails into your shaft. Given your ‘sensitivity’ and complaints of shaft/foreskin pain it follows the CNA’s observation is valid, requiring a circumcision and frenectomy. This should have been promptly done before you were discharged.
Your CNA engaged you in friendly conversation; told you that nurses see the p**** underside called the ventral or anterior, and she finds the ventral view more interesting.
A pharmacist’s assistant visited and you admit that you got another erection because she was “very pretty”. Your recurring, acute persistent erections suggest you were not ill treated in anyway.
Ironically you complained to the RN about your privacy. Logically the RN taped your eyes shut. You completely agree with the RN’s conclusion, “that was the way it should have been from the beginning.” You confirmed that the RN was correct and “she should have taped my eyes shut sooner.”
Patients have their eyes taped shut and/or a sleep mask to calm them, reduce anxiety, control or quash undesirable behavior. I agree that your eyes should have been taped shut from the outset. Either before you were catheterized so you would not see the procedure or immediately after your catheterization and before the volunteer visited. There was no need for you to see any visitor. It would have been beneficial if you didn’t.
Since your eyes were taped shut you do not know for sure who visited and you are not in a position to comment. A Physician’s Assistant would of course examine you and take any photos she needed as that is the best practice. You do not know for sure who changed your Foley catheter. Interestingly you make no complaint on the catheter’s size or insertion, which suggests it was because you were not allowed to watch. You should not have been allowed to watch the first time.
You conclude with paranoid statements that people on the street are watching you and looking at you. You think they were all in your room examining your precious p**** and photographing it.
I suggest you have a psych exam for your paranoia, your uncooperative belligerent behavior that got you put in restraints in the first place, your oppositional defiant disorder, and blaming the nurses who expressed concern for you and worked with you every step of the way. The psych exam should also evaluate your repeated, prolonged and overly intense erections, and arrange for a circumcision and frenectomy.
I think you should write a correction of your post and a thorough apology. You should admit what you did to get put in restraints in the first place and admit your subsequent belligerence. The RNs and CNAs followed best practices and medical procedures. You should publicly apologize to them and admit that you have some issues and they treated you well.
