Here’s another riff I learned back in the mid 90’s learning to play guitar from Guitar World. I didn’t have the entire song in tab, it was a lesson of some kind. It had the intro and the verse. I never forgot it. This is the way I have always played it. Which is wrong, but it sounded cool.

I also learned most of “Panama”, which I did have the full tab for. It was surprising easy, but I forget it. It never stuck with me.

I also played the above when I got back into guitar in the mid/late 00’s. I improvised the (Unchained) pre-chorus (wrong) put it out there and that’s when I started seeing Eddie’s smiling face on the cover of every second Guitar World. I stopped playing Unchained only because I knew it was wrong, and I didn’t want the king to see me butchering his song.
