Russia has no interest in nuking Ukraine since many of the people are of Russian heritage. Russia simply wants the Nazis and the weapons gone.

This is why Russia revealed the Nazi plan to detonate a dirty bomb and then blame it on Russia with counterfeit missile parts. They do what NATO tells them.
