Nobody is obligated to give anything to anyone else, including their time, especially if they are not fond of that person. To put it politely.

I know how it feels at both ends of that spectrum. You should believe people when they say they’re not interested, especially if they give reasons exactly what they are not a fan. Now, if you don’t want to drive it away, It likely is not a good idea to double down on what you’ve been warned is not good, and do it with an irritating smile on your face. You don’t want to do that in an attempt to rile them up, I call that negative attention seeking. It’s a game. I don’t like games, and I REALLY don’t like them when I see what they are.

I don’t get mad, I walk away and mean it. It’s not a game to me. I don’t like being irritated or bothered. I’ll be angry you are wasting my time with games and s***, so I wash my hands and say “f*** you… 🖕” and I leave. Permanently because I have a bad taste.

But of course then they’re pissed off wondering why I’m an ignorant worthless a******?
