Are you really that upset about the Little Mermaid?

Why don’t you ignore it and instead of freaking out about it, because who cares and maybe contemplate something cool?

Like the construction of an electric guitar. Like the 2007 Gibson Les Paul Studio.

Technically this guitar should be chambered. First year of chambering instead of the Swiss cheese holes weight relief. I thought chambered meant the guitar was pretty much hollow, not that I knew that when I bought it, I didn’t research, I just wanted the classic design and assumed that was what I was buying. Turns out I bought a hollow guitar, which is not always a bad thing, look at the Gibson ES guitars or even the Les Paul Florentine, but I did want a classic Les Paul in Studio form. The question is, why am I only hearing hollow in one section and not even in or around the center of the guitar? I learned to love the guitar as a well constructed Gibson guitar, whether it was classic design or not.

The fat wide 50’s neck. It’s not slim taper. You can see the gigantic space between the outside strings and the edge of the fretboard. It’s a wide fretboard. It is actually good, you can bend and vibrato on those strings without much worry of slipping over, there’s plenty of room. Wide fretboard and chunky neck and I believe the extra wood adds quite a bit of over all weight but also adds to the tone and feel of the guitar. It feels more solid. I learned to love that. It’s comfy.

Gold hardware, that is real gold plating too. Just chance, but I like the gold hardware on this particular guitar. Fireburst. It looks good. It blends with the yellow in the center. Cream plastic, they offered this guitar with black plastic, chrome or nickel hardware. I think I actually prefer Gold and Cream. The thing about gold is it wears off visibly. Mine’s patchy which to my taste is alright. I don’t mind natural wear and weather. That kind of thing is less visible on chrome and nickel. I look after it, but it is what it is. It’s meant to be played.

This is a mind blowing good guitar. It’s the best sounding and playing guitar I have ever owned or played, personally.
