And to think, to be a sentimental freak because I am, I didn’t hink about it this way then, but at that time, in the mid 1980’s where this camp is, is not far away from a town I started out life in. Not far at all, 1/2 hr drive. Close. A girl in that town who I knew and didn’t see much anymore, every few years, her and I were experiencing the same storm at that time. She couldn’t have known. I did, but didn’t think of it that way, then. It’s kind to of like we are experiencing the same thing together in real time, away from each likely there, looking at the moon. The problem with that is yeah, on any given night we could both look at the moon at the some point but what are the chances you will both be looking at the same time? With a lightning storm, it’s guaranteed that you are both somewhere wherever that could be a porch or sitting down watching TV or driving. You will both see those flashes and hear them too. You are conscious of it. You’re experiencing it together.

I’m so romantic. I have a romantic heart.
