You probably misunderstand. Just because someone is withdrawn and done with that it’s, doesn’t mean they’re stuck inside their house like a hermit never seeing the light of day…. They could be out almost constantly. Happy and good even. Not afraid 😉 think a little deeper. Maybe they’re just done striving for more out of life. Personal relationships. More out of their career and things like that. They are done. They will be where they are currently 20 or 30 years from now.

I think she should also consider whether this person and the relationship is even salvageable considering the circumstances. What made them close up to her? Are those issues still present?
