What makes it different now is I think that side knows that it better not enter the equation ever again. I made it very clear I do not want it, which I never did before.

I also know that “me vs that” is not a very good or fair trade off. I know that, so if or when it does happen, the people who are toxic feel it, they are not me, and the people who made the made the mistake of contact with what is toxic feel it. They gave this up for that. Definitely not a good grade off, especially now at this point in time. More now than ever. It’s definitely getting ripped off, which absolutely makes it an uncomfortable situation on that end.
