Wow. I just saw a Hershey’s ad and honestly, I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from.

All women, all ages, and their lines were all “gay (something)” Role Model, Mentors, Women Everywhere” a d then the tag line “let’s all celebrate together” (bahahaha!)

Which did make me go ??? I honestly did a double take thinking “did I hear that right? Are they saying gay?” I rewinded, and sure enough, all women, all ages, all gay.

Which made me wonder, what is this about? So I looked it up and it’s a campaign targeted at celebrating women. The SHE in HERSHEY’S is in color on the package. It’s a good thing I looked it up because it seemed like an ad celebrating lesbian women. I had no idea it was targeted at celebrating all WOMEN… all women and girls, including straight women and girls. Amazing.

Nnnnnaaaaaahhh, I think I’ll stay away from Hershey’s from now on, thanks… I don’t think we can relate.
