Dating Black Culture: Black men hit on me all the time but I am not attracted to them if their skin is too dark. It’s a preference, everyone has their own and I like the coffee swirl. Unless they are a pro athlete, executive, have a advanced degree or financially successful I don’t want to date them because their cultural perspective, attraction to a ghetto lifestyle and slave mentality or attitude in always focused on ‘playing victim’ and makes life more difficult and less enjoyable. The excuses to resonate in anger and resentment 24/7 over a history you personally never lived, like you ‘really know’ what it was like to suffer or die of your great, great grandmother’s cancer called slavery, just makes life less joyful. Playing victim to an ancestors life experience while ignoring the reality and suffering of the slaves of Human Trafficking; women, and children chained in real time. Not okay. Playing victim when you are in reality a Survivor of the Ancestry of Slavery while ignoring real time s** slave issues in your face. Not okay when their are real people trapped in modern slavery that need your help now. Playing victim to the past is not a free pass to turn a blind eye or ignore those human trafficking victims enslaved today. Who wants to spend their life focusing on misery and suffering of the past? I don’t run around whining about how my minority great great Grandfather was a Sheriff killed in a jail raid 150 years ago. His suffering was not meant to be my experience. Today is a NEW day. Today we create a NEW future. Anything we want because the past is over and done. It’s not all the ‘white mans’ fault the black or minority communities got hooked into abusive patterns of generational behavior: selling drugs, gang banging, abandoning your baby momma to leave your families in poverty, allowing your neighborhoods to become slums cause your too damn lazy to take the initiative to help clean it up. Oh, that is someone else’s job to fix xyz problem? No, if you can see the problem you are to be a part of the solution. Stop blaming every white person for our own failure in taking accountability and responsibility in empowering our own people and streets. It was/is a damn choice to disempower our own communities to gangs or abandon your family and children to a lifetime of financial struggle so you can spend life in jail due to stupid choices rooted in ignorance and a lack of focus or education. When you drop out of school to go hustle on the corner with your boys, that choice and repurcusion is on you boo. Foolish when CBD is legal and you can now have a legit business and be a professional businessman. Time to upgrade the game and level of class by upgrading the victim mindset to survivor. Status quo just won’t do any longer. Communism don’t have a color but if you are dating a Muslim (follower of Islam) you are betraying your own ‘Black Lives Matter’ cause and people to support the allies of Hitler and the Nazis that murdered 12.5 million Jews, Elderly, LGBT, and Disabled people. The Muslim Brotherhood are traitors to Democracy and Freedom. Don’t be fooled by those who package slavery and oppression in religion and violence. The ttruth is you will have to work harder than everyone else, to be the best at your gift or talent or in your field of expertise. It’s all in the mindset to choose to be a Champion against the odds. Esp when all our minority neighborhoods; black, yellow, brown have been statistically analyzed by corporations who have pre determined statistical percentages based on demographics of high school students who will go to prison to make your State Prison Profits vs those students who will walk across the stage with a Diploma. The odds are not rigged in your favor, neither are your excuses to not succeed in spite of life challenges. Don’t believe your own B’s because you only fail in life when you stop trying. Every minority goes through hardship but the difference is the rest of us who succeed don’t blame it on the ‘white man.’ Instead we go to college, trade or business school or develop our talent or gifts to build a better future for our families and ourselves without blaming others for our lack of commitment or excuses to not succeed. The uneducated forget history, it was the Portuguese who started the slave trade, not the white man. Yet in the midst of current events we forget, there were also white men/women and light skinned people on the Underground Railroad who helped Tubman set the slaves free, esp those who sold, betrayed or traded their own kind for money. Quit selling out your brothers and sisters or community for a piece of worthless paper. Gold maybe but not paper..lol… Make the area and community you came and every person within your power to help better than you left it. Their souls and gifts are valuable to God and humanity. Choose to do the right thing, be a good person, a light in the darkness of too much criminal behavior that hurts people and must be stopped by a few good men/women. Slavery ended 200 years ago, you are FREE to create your life TODAY in any way you choose but only your mindset limits your life. Your strength is in the Faith of your ancestry, not the chains that bound them to servitude. The Government won’t clean up or improve your community or neighborhood, only you can take the initiative for positive changes and turn in the gang banger, trafficker or the drug dealer terrorizing the streets making it unsafe for our children to go to school. Take responsibility for the health and well being of your community and protecting the innocence of children by being part of the solution instead of blaming everyone for your problems. The ‘boogie blacks’ need to step up and quit wasting money trying to be flashy and drive fancy cars or drip diamond jewelry and invest money into the impoverished schools, athletic programs, libraries and cleaning up the parks in your childhood neighborhood, providing college scholarships, in your town or city that poured into you that enabled you to be a success. You are not self made, you are the ROI and by product of those people, teachers and coaches and leaders that loved you and invested in your future. Pay it forward, invest in the next generation instead of materialistic crap or being greedy. If every Pro Athlete or Celebrity adopted their Elementary. Middle and High School, to clean it up, or uplift the students, there is no limit to the good that can be done across the Nation. Don’t let the children be a statistic. Bless those places and people that have blessed you. 🦋 Song: We Are The World. Michael Jackson
