Provided they care enough about what you think or are not callous enough to feel it. You also need to actually be better than they are from their perspective for them to care. It might work on a high school kid or someone who genuinely loves you.
At least that’s the how I think it goes.
For me, it would be the gaul that would piss me off. If from my perspective, I am better than you in many ways. I’d just walk over and beat the f****** s*** out of you and that would be that. Unless you had the gaul to talk down to me again, then I kick the s*** out of you worse.
