that’s good that you know she wasn’t talking bad about you and if that’s true then other stuff can be true and not a lie too. but girl i did not just write that whole thing for you to say that girl u started talking to will get that chance 😭. i say give the ex the chance. that was your last test and she proved you wrong for a reason. it happened for this reason. it’s also not good to move on with other people because things happen. people can make you happy and people can care but it’s about the people that differentiate from the person you fell for. i say from everything you’ve said it’s meant to happen. you guys have a lot of history and even though a minor part of it is bad a majority isn’t and this happiness and love shouldn’t come easily especially if you said yesterday she’s changing for you or something like that, people do not do that for anyone because that’s hard and it’s part of the hard love. you said one last test and she proved you wrong so stick to it and try and talk to her that’s all i can say she’ll be understanding of it and if she’s not that’s on her for not doing well on her part. it’s not a good idea to push the thought of someone away with a new person just letting you know because you wanna be happy and have your own self love and after that who else would wait months to be with you and make this large effort. i just think it’s something to consider not only now but in the future as well because in the moment your hurt but happiness with her can go a long way and risks are everything not even that you’d be risking so much because the girl is putting a lot forward already for you.
