I kind of don’t feel very comfortable living as a female, and I’d absolutely love to be male. Growing up my parents brought me up to look and be more tomboyish, and when I was around 3-8 1/2 I always acted feminine, because apparently my child brain thought that everyone had to conform to gender roles. I don’t clearly remember myself disliking feminine things though, but I never liked pink that much. I would tend to avoid things I deemed “for boys” too. When I was in first grade, I developed a slight hatred for boys. Fast forward to around age 8 1/2-10, I started hating dresses and never felt comfortable in them. I started wearing less skirts and other feminine things like jewelry. All throughout my life I kind of disliked being called feminine honorifics and other names like “Princess”. I also felt a little awkward being called “she” or “her”. Nowadays (Age 14) I’m starting to hate my chest, and strive for a taller height, shorter hair, flatter chest, and deeper voice (My voice is pretty deep for a girl, I’m very happy with that but I want it deeper). Sometimes I’d imagine myself being male and would be over the moon for that. But very rarely I’d look in the mirror and feel that the current me was ok-ish enough. I’m scared this might just be a phase, and that I’m nothing but a transtrender, but at the same time I want to be male. Do you think these are signs that I could be having dysphoria or be transgender/genderqueer?
