Saw a “Girl” I knew in high school today. Haven’t seen her in about 18 years. Not saying I don’t look older, but I didn’t even recognize her. She recognized me, smiled and I STILL didn’t recognize her until I had walked past her and she said “****, right?” I turned thinking “my boss must have used my name talking to her…” turned to look, and I should have recognized her. Me being me, I should have. I had no clue, bu as soon as I really looked, I knew her and her name. She’s not overweight, she’s thin actually, doesn’t look like a former alcoholic or recovering drug addict. I should have recognized her. Simple age. Lines on face. Youth gone.

It was a wake up call when it comes to other people I haven’t seen in that long. I can only f****** imagine what a f****** train wreck.
