I feel like every breakup song and every heartbroken poet talks about how they have to be strong because someone hurt them in a relationship, and stuff like “I don’t need you anymore” and “Look how great i’m doing without you” and “You hurt me so I had to leave”. But the worst heartbreak, at least in my opinion, is really when you’re the one who has to leave because you love someone so much that you don’t want to hurt them. Or worse, if you love someone so much that you can’t tell them how you feel because you know they’re happier with someone else. I know all can hurt. But some are more unnoticed.
