When I was in middle school I had an online friend that I used to always talk to. He was an adult but he didn’t say anything creepy to me. One day he told me we had to stop talking and warned me not to talk to any more adult men because it’s dangerous. We never spoke after that. I never felt threatened by him but I now understand he probably shouldn’t have been talking to me. I haven’t thought about him in years but suddenly I wonder how he is and what he is up to. I wonder what was going through his mind when we were talking. I guess I’ll never know.
