“You are so pretty, how come you don’t have a boyfriend?” I f****** hate this sentence. I have been told this plenty of times. Ok, I’m pretty, thank you very much, it doesn’t change the fact I’ve never had a boyfriend in 23 years. Every boy I’ve ever liked never even looked at me, and the only one I’ve loved told me I was a “pretty girl and an interesting person” but somehow it wasn’t enough. It’s never enough. Because guess what? Being pretty doesn’t grant you anything. Why are people so f****** shallow they cannot comprehend the complexity of emotions, personalities and relationships? Do they really think a pretty person just snaps their fingers and finds the love of their life? Do they think being pretty is the only thing needed to form a deep bond? Were the f*** do they live for f***’s sake, what kind of dumb question is it? God f****** dammit
