I definitely am not “normal” at all. Here’s one reason why: I have a way deeper emotional connection to people that are animated and not real life. My mind has a tendency to over analyze things that are abstract and not completely related to humans.

Take this scene for example:

[A little girl decides to try and make friends with a bunch of other kids at a park]

What my mind thinks if this were to be filmed in real life:
“Okay, so a little girl who is alone is deciding to make friends with those kids there. She will now go ahead and try to do so.”

What my mind thinks if this were to be neatly 2-D animated:
“Okay. This is a female individual in one of the most beautiful stages of her life. She appears so carefree and happier than I will probably ever be. However, it appears that she does have a problem and that is with making friends. Well, of course, friends are necessary. They make us feel less lonely and more connected with life. Therefore, she will try to go and introduce herself to the other kids. She walks towards the kids in a somewhat anxious way. She personally identifies herself in a way that is absolutely innocent. I think that in her consciousness, she feels as though she is not completely sure of what will happen but that is okay. She is just a kid who is exploring the world around and trying to find happiness, just like anyone of us.”

What the f*** am I?
Also, before ANYONE generalizes, I am not some weeb with an addiction to anime. I am referring to anything animated. Bojack, Hilda, Max and Ruby, South park, Camp camp, Archer, etc.
