Why do people still believe in religion, pseudoscience and supernatural beliefs til this day? Religion holds us back and stops society from progressing. Religion has brought us nothing but fear and guilt (Religion personally made me feel bad about myself in general and made me scared of death, I will no longer buy into that rubbish ever again!). Religion has done more harm than good. Religion is the real reason why wars are still happening til this day and has been violating human rights (especially LGBT rights) recently.

All of it has its no use in modern society. It’s time we move past all that. Start by facing reality and getting with the times. The future is now.

You have a brain, use it. Don’t let it go to waste. It’s time we start thinking critically, asking questions, educating ourselves and be more aware of the world around us. Science is where its at. Without science, none of us would be here.

It’s time we start moving forward and turn society around for good.

To all the people saying “I don’t care about politics”. You should care and care for the people around you and you should be involved. Don’t silence yourselves, say what’s on your mind and vote wisely.

I know this post seems out of place and all but honestly, this world would really be much better off without religion in general. I know there still would be violence and bigotry if religion were to fade away forever. But think about it this way, no more strict rules and no more being ashamed about who we love. Think of all the good things we can do for modern society.
