Oh to be a parent: So illogical, so egotistical and condescending, so willing to abuse their power as a figure of authority, so hypocritical and even emotionally dense. No wonder some parents get left at the nearest retirement home, never to be contacted. Thanks for physically taking care of me…and that’s it. I’d rather be surrounded by people I’m actually compatible with. Don’t say I didn’t try to make any of this s*** work.
