MOST med students are thin because they are over-worked and under fed.
Med students need to know weight can be lost by WHEN you eat as well as what you eat. Drs. on YouTube showed eating stimulates insulin which locks the fat so it can’t be burned. Eat less often so insulin levels are low allowing fat to be burned. Snacking counts as eating, even if it’s just one cookie or one soda. No food between mealtimes. None!
Eat from the produce isle, reduce portions, eat less often with lots of time between meals for insulin to drop, no eating within 4 hours of bed, and mild exercise like walking. A bag of vegetables will fill you up more and has less calories than a bowl of ice cream.
