I must be really boring.. He asks how my day went and I get a couple thoughts in and then he’s back to talking about work, video games, etc. He doesn’t ask questions about anything I say. It ends up being a one sided conversation and my feelings get hurt. If he genuinely asks about my day and waits for a response I struggle to answer. Will he listen? will he cut me off? is he just thinking about the next thing he wants to say? I just shove everything down. It’s lonely. So I’m sitting here crying. Again.
