I messed up my insulin for about two weeks and got sick … but I had to mess up when I finally didn’t need any eye injections for my retinopathy… so now my poor unmedicated retinas will be trashed from having such high blood sugar and nothing to protect them and I think I’ve lost vision that I’ll never get back and I have to see my eye specialist tomorrow and whatever happens … it’s all my fault . I hate being diabetic and I hate being alive .
