I have only been in a relationship with this man for 9 months, I fell in love with him instantly. He has a 7 year old, who I absolutely adore. Me and the kid spend a lot of time together, she shared secrets with me that she hasn’t even told him. For instance, she never wants to see her mom and dad in the same room because she has memories of him beating her. I feel like she told me this because she knows he hits me. We never fight in front of her, but still she sees my pain. She’s very comforting for a kid. I love her so much that I’m scared to leave him. I’m pregnant now and he thinks this is why I haven’t left. It’s 99% because I love her and there is that 1% that still loves him too.
